On Wednesday, April 2, Location Decisions held an open talk session in collaboration with gwSaar, the economic development agency for the region of Saarland and H2Saar, Saarland’s hydrogen agency at Hannover Messe.
The topic of the event was “Cross-Border Collaboration: Navigating Investment Opportunities Across Borders”. Andreas Schindler, Senior Consultant, Location Decisions gave an impulse talk on how investment promotion agencies are increasingly joining forces and adopting collaborative approaches to attract foreign companies to a wider region.
“Cross-border collaboration is crucial, especially in emerging industries like hydrogen, where collective efforts can drive innovation and attract investment”, Andreas said summarising the event.
The event continued with a discussion featuring Dr. Bettina Hübschen, Managing Director of H2Saar, who shared Saarland’s hydrogen strategy, their approach to attracting and facilitating hydrogen FDI projects, as well as key cross border projects.
Companies including MHA Zentgraf and Mecadi were also part of the conversation and shared insights about their activities in the hydrogen ecosystem in Saarland.
